Concentus Loudspeakers
Lyra
The open baffle technology allows, more than
any other, a loudspeaker to properly reproduce the sound stage.
The sound is extremely natural, the instruments are properly
separated, and you donŐt need to stay in a hot seat as with
the other types of loudspeakers. Furthermore the sound radiated
by the rear side is delayed in comparison with the sound radiated
by the front side, when arriving at the listenerŐs ear. That
phenomenon is perceived like a reverberation, which gives
to the musical reproduction a three-dimensional spatiality
full of heat and transparency. This is the technology which
CONCENTUS adopted for the Lyra loudspeakers, which have such
a cross-over as to maintain a linear impedance when the frequency
changes. The speakers and the filter are manufactured on CONCENTUS
specifications. They are mounted on the achoustical screen
in such an arrangement as to obtain a linear response. The
cabinet in solid homemade walnut or mahogany is designed in
such a way as to avoid any resonance.
